Landon, born in 2008 has been training in Shito-Ryu Karate for nearly ten years at New Tampa Karate. Landon has grown a lot since he first joined, from participating in Lil Champs class to teach as an assistant instructor. He earned his 1st-degree junior black belt in November of 2019, after which he continued to train to earn his 2nd-degree junior black belt in February 2022. Landon plans to test for his Shodan black belt in 2024 once he turns 16. Prior to the pandemic, Landon attended many karate tournaments most of which he placed in the top three. Landon applies the skills of discipline and perseverance which he learned from karate into his life outside of karate which has helped him become successful at Middleton High school, as a Principal's Honor Roll and Magnet Student in the Computer Science and Information Technology and Engineering program. Landon is set to graduate from Middleton High school in May of 2026. When Landon is not training or teaching at New Tampa Karate, he spends his time training in swimming and competing for Tampa Elite Aquatics. He also lettered in Varsity swimming at Middleton High School as a Freshman.
